Resident Engineer

Supervise and maintain safe, efficient construction in line with contractual terms and approved plans set by the Construction Supervision Manager Plan project steps and timelines with the Construction Manager to meet deadlines and budget Manage the full site team; conduct inspections to ensure conformity with drawings/specs; allocate and manage staff Oversee site inspections; check and approve finished work Coordinate across Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Architectural teams Lead kick-off meetings with client/contractor; define scope, responsibilities, schedules, submittals, HSE Conduct progress meetings; track progress and resolve outstanding issues Hold technical/coordination meetings to solve design/coordination issues Review/approve contractor work schedules with Planning Engineer Provide final approvals for material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, subcontractors; reply to RFIs with relevant teams Handle correspondences with Contractor and Client Lead design changes with the Design team per client requirements Monitor progress vs. baseline; analyze delays and extension-of-time claims Analyze cost claims/variations; resolve disputes with QS/Contracts; recommend final approvals Review contractor monthly progress reports; prepare monthly report for the client; certify payments with QS
