Accounts Officer - (Taxation)

- Prepare and file periodic tax returns (monthly, quarterly, annual). - Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, donor regulations, and institutional financial policies. - Generate PSIDs and ensure timely deposit of taxes in treasury. - Respond to tax notices and coordinate with legal advisors. - Maintain and update tax records and databases. - Estimate, track, and reconcile tax obligations - Recommend tax strategies and identify tax-saving opportunities. - Stay updated on tax laws, regulations, and industry trends. - Prepare documentation for tax payments and compliance reports. - Liaise with internal and external auditors. - Contribute to overall Finance Department goals and support cross-functional collaboration within the university.
