Operations Manager

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented #OperationsManager who has past experience in #Metal_Recycling industry, and who will oversee and manage the Processing function at the organization, ensuring its efficient and effective operation. This role involves strategic planning, resource allocation, process optimization, and team development to achieve operational excellence, reduce costs and support business objectives Responsibilities: . Develop the annual plan and budget for Operations to align with organizational goals . Allocate resources effectively to meet operational targets . Translate the Operations budget into clear, actionable goals . Oversee procurement and layout of processing equipment . Establish workflows to enhance efficiency and quality in processing . Implement production planning and optimize workforce utilization . Collaborate with Commercial teams to synchronize purchasing, production, and sales plans for optimized inventory and working capital . Work with Equipment Management to ensure machinery operates smoothly with minimal breakdowns . Monitor and drive performance across processing facilities, focusing on efficiency, productivity, quality & safety . Lead continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN principles . Ensure health, safety & regulatory compliance across all Processing operations . Prepare periodic performance reports for management . Track and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) for processing activities . Develop organizational knowledge & capabilities in scrap material processing . Lead the development, appraisal & succession planning of the Operations team . Ensure the Processing team is staffed and organized to meet future needs . Implement automation strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality . Lead cost-reduction initiatives to optimize resources and boost operational efficiency Requirements: . Over 15 years of experience in Metal Recycling, Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Processing, Scrap Handling & Manufacturing Management . Expertise in process improvement, LEAN manufacturing, KAIZEN & 5S implementation . Proven success in process automation & cost reduction initiatives . Strong communication, organizational & leadership skills . Excellent team-building and interpersonal abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams . Technical expertise in manufacturing & supply chain operations . Exceptional analytical & problem-solving capabilities . Fluent in both Arabic & English
