Job Description
Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate in the Quantum Materials (QuMat) group at IISER Tirupati. We are looking for highly motivated PhD holders to join our research team for a project funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF). This project offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with the National University of Singapore and Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia, within a highly interdisciplinary research environment. Project Title: "Quantum Materials for Chiral Spintronic Memory" Eligibility & Requirements: Seeking candidates with a strong track record in high-quality single crystal growth of intermetallics, 2D van der Waals materials, topological materials and transition metal oxides using techniques such as CVT, flux growth, or any other relevant techniques. Hands-on experience with magnetotransport measurements and proficiency in analyzing single-crystal XRD and neutron diffraction data are essential. Qualification: Ph.D. degree in experimental Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, focusing on the area of condensed matter physics or solid state chemistry. Candidates who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting the award of a Ph.D. degree may also apply Preferred: Experienced in the area of quantum materials and devices, magnetic skyrmions, and spintronics Additional Skills: Consideration will be given to candidates with experience in micromagnetic simulations and Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations.Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate in the Quantum Materials (QuMat) group at IISER Tirupati.
