Job Description

We are looking for a 2D artist who will help us create and implement a vibrant, cohesive visual style for our game. The project is small a remaster of an existing title and we need someone ready to take full ownership of the art side. Important note! There should be an example of your past work with tiles and sprites in your portfolio. Concept arts, illustrations or just characters will not be sufficient. If you don't have this in your public portfolio, attach to the email. Responsibilities: + Redraw existing graphics in a new style. + Work with sprites and tiles. + Prepare assets for import into the game engine and for animation. + Create sketches of environments/characters/effects. Requirements: + Experience creating visual styles for 2D games. + Experience working with tiles. + Skills in preparing graphics for slicing in the engine and for animation. Nice to have: + Basic animation skills (character movement, simple effects). + Basic understanding of game engines (we use Unity). About the project: This is a small puzzle-platformer. The style is cartoonish but not childish we want the visuals to look lively while maintaining atmosphere. Contact us if you're ready for a small test task. Please include your CV and portfolio.
