We are seeking an experienced Actuary to take on the role of AVP, Head of Valuation. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the valuation process for a life insurer, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the valuation process for life and annuity products.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, Stat reporting, and LDTI requirements.
- Present valuation results and insights to senior leadership.
- Lead and mentor a team of actuarial professionals.
- Take initiative in improving valuation methodologies and processes.
Required Skills:
- FSA designation.
- Strong knowledge of life and annuity products.
- Experience with GAAP and Stat reporting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
