Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. The Cashier will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while efficiently and accurately processing transactions. The ideal candidate should have excellent numerical skills, attention to detail, and a friendly and professional demeanor. The Cashier will primarily be responsible for handling cash, processing payments, punching in orders from the waitering team and assisting customers with inquiries or concerns. Key Responsibilities: Cash Handling: Accurately manage cash transactions, reconcile cash at the start and end of shifts, and ensure correct change is provided. POS System Operation: Process payments through the POS system (cash, credit, and debit cards) and quickly adapt to new technology. Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and resolve concerns with a positive attitude. Product Knowledge: Stay informed on products, pricing, promotions, and company policies. Checkout Management: Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked. Register Reconciliation: Accurately reconcile daily sales and report discrepancies to the manager or supervisor. Payment Processing: Ensure accurate and secure payment handling while following fraud prevention protocols. Sales Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate daily sales reports and other data as required. Policy Compliance: Follow all company policies, cash handling procedures, and security measures.
