Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, PCI, CIS, etc.). Knowledge of cloud security concepts, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, network security, and data protection. Experience in securing various cloud infrastructure components like virtual machines, containers, serverless architectures, and networking configurations. Proficiency with security tools specific to cloud environments, such as Google Cloud Security Command Center and others. Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.) to automate security tasks and streamline processes. Ability to develop and implement incident response plans for cloud-based environments. Familiarity with security monitoring tools and techniques. Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate security issues and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders. Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to assess complex security challenges and devise appropriate solutions.
