Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) to join our team in Anaconda, MT, for a 3+ month contract. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical laboratory testing, including phlebotomy. You will work closely with the healthcare team to provide accurate and timely test results for patient care. This position offers day shifts, with the potential for variable night shifts depending on departmental needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-complexity clinical testing in areas such as hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology.
Conduct venipuncture and other phlebotomy procedures.
Evaluate and analyze test results to ensure accuracy and reliability, troubleshooting inconsistencies as necessary.
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, following standard operating procedures and quality control protocols.
Adhere to CLIA, CAP, Joint Commission, and other regulatory standards.
Assist with variable night coverage based on the departments scheduling needs.
