Managing & maintaining SUSE Server Building/reimages SUSE Linux servers in both physical and virtual environments. Managing Linux virtual machines that are configured in ESX environments. Providing Level 3 support to the customers. Managing the Antivirus environment. Patching and OS upgrades on SUSE servers Exposure to DNS, NFS, Samba, FTP, LDAP, NTP, Email services. Knowledge on SAN or NAS environments. Knowledge on RAID, LVM, Package Management. Knowledge of any scripting language. E.g.: Shell, Perl. Exposure on any clusters. Good understanding of Networking concepts like TCP/IP, DHCP, IP Routing and Name Resolution. Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and providing solutions for technical issues. OS Concepts on Security, Backup and recovery strategies, performance tuning, LDAP, high availability and disaster recovery concepts, Monitoring etc. Knowledge in configuration management systems such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible General understanding of Pacemaker, its configuration, resource management and integration with other cluster stack components (like Corosync) is crucial. Azure Skills:Thorough knowledge on Azure platforms IAAS, PaaS. Deep understanding of Cloud Computing and various deployment methodologies. Ability to design application and deployment architecture from On-premise to Cloud provided architectural guidance for Azure solutions Strong knowledge of Azure App services, Azure Resource Manager ( ARM Templates) Good understanding of Azure storage options Good Understanding of Azure networking like VNETS, NSGs , ExpressRoute, site-to-site and point-to-site connections
