Job Description

<h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Architect and design data-driven solutions for large-scale applications within the Wealth Management and Billing ecosystem.</li><li>Lead the development of robust data pipelines using technologies such as AWS Glue, Athena, and Snowflake.</li><li>Apply caching strategies and data modeling best practices to optimize system performance and throughput.</li><li>Translate complex business requirements into effective, scalable enterprise data architectures.</li><li>Ensure all solutions align with non-functional requirements (NFRs) including scalability, reliability, availability, maintainability, and performance.</li><li>Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to design databases, select technologies, and define integration patterns.</li><li>Evaluate new tools and frameworks, perform technical feasibility studies, and provide strategic architectural guidance.</li><li>Document architectural decisions, data flows, and infrastructure components.</li></ul><h3>Required Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>15+ years of experience in data engineering, solution architecture, or technical leadership roles.</li><li>Strong expertise in AWS data services (Glue, Athena, S3, Lambda, etc.).</li><li>Proven experience with Snowflake and building high-performance, cloud-native data warehouses.</li><li>Solid understanding of caching technologies (e.g., Redis, Memcached) to optimize latency and throughput.</li><li>Experience designing and implementing end-to-end data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.</li><li>Strong knowledge of database design, data modeling, and performance tuning.</li><li>Experience in the Wealth Management and/or Billing domain is highly preferred.</li><li>Deep understanding of architectural patterns, non-functional requirements, and trade-offs in designing distributed data systems.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Experience working with tools like Apache Spark, Airflow, or similar orchestration frameworks.</li><li>Familiarity with CI/CD practices in data environments.</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical solutions into business outcomes.</li><li>Architecture certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus</li></ul>
