We are looking for a Senior Application Support Engineer with strong expertise in supporting and developing enterprise-grade billing applications. The role involves development, maintenance, and support of applications such as IAS, IBS+, IBBR, and IBPS written in IBM Informix 4GL, Java, Jasper, C#, and VB.NET. The candidate must be able to work on ServiceNow tickets, handle troubleshooting, and ensure smooth execution of build and run activities.
This role may also require 12-hour standby shifts during weekends or 8-hour shifts aligned to EU hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and support IAS, IBS+, IBBR, and IBPS billing applications.
- Work on ServiceNow tickets - incident, request, and change management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
- Write and optimize code in IBM Informix 4GL, Java, C#, VB.NET, and Shell scripting.
- Ensure smooth execution of build and run activities.
- Provide support for billing-related processes and systems.
- Participate in on-call standby support on weekends or EU business hours as required.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong coding ability in IBM Informix 4GL, Java, C#, VB.NET, Shell scripting.
- Experience in troubleshooting Informix errors.
- Prior experience in billing applications and strong understanding of billing workflows.
- Hands-on experience in supporting enterprise-scale applications.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts (including EU time zone coverage).
Qualification & Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Any certification in Java, Informix, or related technologies would be a plus.
