We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Manager to oversee early infrastructure works (EIW) for a major oil and gas project in Iraq. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive critical early-phase construction activities, ensuring excellence in planning, execution, and delivery. Key Responsibilities: Define, organize, and manage a construction team dedicated to wellpads early infrastructure civil works. Ensure compliance with H3SE standards, project requirements, and applicable codes. Oversee construction of: Wellpad earthworks, site grading, stormwater drainage, and perimeter security. Emergency flare pits, waste pits, and rig skidding infrastructure. Installation of drilling conductor pipes, cellars, and associated cementing. Collaborate closely with contractors/subcontractors, ensuring performance, safety, and quality targets are met. Mitigate risks, track progress, and manage costs to deliver projects on schedule and within budget. Report regularly on milestones, challenges, and commercial impacts. About You: 15+ years experience in Oil & Gas projects. 8+ years in managerial roles, focusing on project execution and civil works. Strong expertise in early works, civil infrastructure, and roads construction. Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus. Proven leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
