We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The role is responsible for designing MV/LV substations and switchgear solutions that meet customer requirements, international standards, and company quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare technical submittals, design drawings, fabrication drawings, and final as-built drawings.
• Select electrical components and prepare accurate Bills of Material (BOM).
• Review customer Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), load schedules, and provide optimized design solutions.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, and local distribution specifications.
• Coordinate with internal teams and respond to customer feedback on submittals.
• Support department targets through timely and accurate project deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering.
• 0-2 years’ experience in MV/LV substation and switchgear design.
• Strong knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards and SEC/Municipality specifications.
• Experience with electrical design tools, load calculations, and short circuit levels.
• Familiarity with leading manufacturers (ABB, Schneider, Siemens, Eaton, etc.).
• Good understanding of control diagrams, busbar sizing, cable sizing, and heat dissipation estimation.
• Basic knowledge of control panel wiring, PLC wiring, and related systems.
