Responsibilities

• Design & development of tooling - jigs and fixtures for aero-structure assemblies.
• Tool design using CATIA-V5 for detail parts and assemblies.
• Knowledge of machines & processes used in sheet metal aerospace industry.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and tolerances of sheet metal components.
• Drive process improvements and continual improvement initiatives.
• Participate in CFT discussions for process mapping, tool validation.
• Support new product development.
• Problem-solving related to tooling and assembly.
• Manage new jig try-outs, validation, and tool assembly.
• Coordinate with internal departments during project execution.
• Compile and analyze data, prepare tool lists, tool drawings, etc.
• Prepare System Process Flow Charts (SPFC) in line with AS9100 requirements.

Knowledge & Critical Skills Required

• Assembly processes
• ProE Wildfire 4.0, AutoCAD, and CATIA V5R16
• Tooling requirements of aerospace OEMs
• Strong knowledge of tooling processes
• Familiarity with AS9000 standards & aerospace approvals

Desired Qualification & Experience

Education: DME / B.E. (Mechanical / Aeronautical / Aerospace)

Experience: 4-6 years in Aerospace / Manufacturing industry
