- Research fashion trends, seasonal themes, fabrics, trims, and wash techniques specific to outerwear and jackets. - Develop innovative and functional jacket designs for global clients like Zara, Decathlon, Columbia, PVH, etc. - Prepare mood boards, color palettes, fabric and trim selections, and tech packs for development. - Collaborate closely with Merchandising, Product Development, and Sample teams to ensure timely delivery of proto/salesman samples. - Work with buyers/clients to modify or improve styles as per feedback and cost efficiency. - Ensure designs meet customer aesthetic expectations and are aligned with factory capabilities and production constraints. - Participate in fit sessions and ensure pattern/fit alignment with original design intent. Maintain up-to-date records of all design files, swatches, CADs, and approvals.
