With a legacy of over 70 years, Regal Fabrics is one of the Middle East’s largest fabric retailers, operating 14 stores across the UAE and Qatar. Our fashion division, Regal Traders, is dedicated to creating stylish, high-quality apparel. We are now looking for a talented Fashion Designer to join our team and play a key role in shaping our innovative collections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create original designs, including sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards.
- Research fashion trends, fabrics, and techniques to deliver fresh, market-ready designs.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop cohesive seasonal collections.
- Interact with real-life customers to understand their needs and translate them into designs.
- Oversee sampling and fittings to ensure design accuracy and quality.
- Work with cross-functional teams to align designs with business objectives & customer’s requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.
- Proven experience in fashion design, supported by a strong portfolio.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and fashion trends.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in sustainable fashion practices.
- Knowledge of global fashion markets.
