Job Description

Ensure the effective running of day-to-day activities of the Accounts/finance department Managing and overseeing the companys financial systems Managing the financial reporting for the organization. This includes monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and all statutory financial reporting Ensure that financial reports comply with the International Financial reporting standard (IFRS) Providing sound financial support and insights to enable the organization to make critical business decisions Review and monitoring of operation expenses. Presentation of financial results and insights Handling tax matters, tax planning and other regulatory compliance Managing the External Auditor relationship and ensuring the organization is compliant with accounting standards Managing and overseeing the companys banking and borrowing arrangements Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Financial and Management Accounting functions. Advising and implementing best practice methods to increase revenue and reduce costs Managing and tracking budget and performance review Reviewing all formal finance policies and procedures Manage relationships with regulatory and statutory bodies, i.e. LIRS, FIRS, etc Keeping abreast of new development in reporting, tax and other regulatory requirement to ensure compliance
