Job Description

<p>We’re looking for Financial Accountant to the Finance team! This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the CFO and contribute to the success of a growing organisation.</p><p>Role Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Management Accounting:Preparation of month management accounts, providing insightful variance analysis and commentary.Ensure the integrity of the general ledger and all financial records.Ensure intercompany transactions are reconciled accurately and foreign exchange is managed correctly during consolidation.Prepare and submit VAT & HRMC and other relevant tax returns accurately and on time (VAT, RTD, VIES, PAYE).Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.Provide financial support and analysis to the CFO.</li><li>Payroll Processing & Supplier Management:Manage and oversee the end-to-end payroll process for group entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation.Prepare and submit payroll-related reports and returns to relevant authorities.Manage the Supplier ledger.</li></ul><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>Part or Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).</li><li>Strong technical accounting knowledge and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and standards.</li><li>Proven experience in preparing financial statements, management accounts, and financial analysis.</li><li>Familiarity with Irish tax regulations (VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax).</li><li>Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, and accounting software packages.</li><li>Experience with AccountsIQ is an advantage.</li></ul>
