Job Description
Understand subsurface stress, rock mechanics, and geo-mechanical behavior to improve well design and field development.
Perform studies including stress modeling, fault stability analysis, and fracture propagation.
Build and calibrate 1D and 3D geo-mechanical models using wellbore data and core samples.
Recommend drilling and completion strategies to reduce risks (e.g. wellbore instability, sand production).
Analyze data from well logs, seismic surveys, and lab tests.
Collaborate with geologists, reservoir engineers, and drilling teams to align with development plans.
Support operations such as hydraulic fracturing and pressure management.
Prepare technical reports and presentations with key findings.
