We are seeking a skilled Gypsum Worker to install and repair gypsum drywall systems. The Gypsum Worker will be responsible for measuring, cutting, fitting, and fastening drywall sheets to metal or wooden frameworks.

• Measure and mark cutting lines on drywall, using tape measure, straightedge, and pencil.
• Cut drywall to specified sizes, using knife or saw.
• Fit and fasten drywall sheets to metal or wooden frameworks, using screws, bolts, cement, or staples.
• Prepare panels for painting or texturing by applying spackle to nail holes and joints.
• Smooth spackle, using sandpaper.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail.
