HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver Job Title: HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver Location: [ Uttoxeter, Staffordshire] - Please note: routes will cover various locations across Staffordshire,Derbyshire, Cheshire, East/West Midland Job Type: Full Time Purpose of the Role: The HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of o aggregates, muck away, demolition waste, and other bulk goods, using a Class 2 tipper vehicle. The role requires adherence to all relevant road safety regulations, company policies, and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: Safely and efficiently operate a HGV Class 2 tipper vehicle for the collection and delivery of materials to and from designated sites, including construction sites, quarries, recycling centres, and customer premises. Conduct daily vehicle checks in accordance with company policy and VOSA regulations, reporting any defects promptly to the Transport Planner. Ensure loads are secured correctly and distributed evenly to comply with legal weight limits and ensure safe transportation. Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including daily defect reports, delivery notes etc. Maintain accurate records of driving hours and rest periods using a digital tachograph. Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, including site-specific rules and procedures. Communicate effectively with the Transport Planner and customers regarding deliveries, collections, and any potential issues. Represent the company professionally at all times. Keep the vehicle clean and tidy. Assist with other duties as required by the Transport Manager.
