Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee and manage housekeeping operations across our labor camps. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale housekeeping teams, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with health and safety standards in a camp environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day housekeeping operations across the camp facilities (residential blocks, kitchens, dining halls, recreation areas, offices, etc.).
Supervise, train, and lead housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Develop and implement housekeeping schedules and checklists.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Monitor and control housekeeping supplies, linen, chemicals, and equipment.
Coordinate with the Campboss and other department managers to ensure smooth operations.
Handle laundry operations and ensure proper processes are followed.
Maintain records and prepare reports on housekeeping performance and requirements.
Handle complaints or issues from camp residents in a professional and efficient manner.
Drive continuous improvements in service standards and team efficiency.
Requirements:
Minimum 57 years experience in housekeeping management (labor camp or large accommodation facilities experience preferred).
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Good knowledge of housekeeping procedures, laundry operations, and cleaning chemicals/equipment.
Ability to manage large teams in a multicultural environment.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
