IT Security Analyst searching for an IT Security Analyst for one of our top clients. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity based on-site in Houston, Texas.

Networking Fundamentals: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, and how traffic flows across networks (OSI model, network segmentation).

Education & Certifications (Preferred but not always absolute):

Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is often preferred.

Relevant Certifications: examples.

CompTIA Security+: Excellent foundational certification for entry-level analysts.

CompTIA CySA+ (Cybersecurity Analyst+): More advanced, focusing on threat detection, analysis, and response.
