🔹 About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Jr. Desktop Support cum Network Administrator to join our IT team in Thane. The role involves providing network administration and end-user IT support while ensuring smooth, secure, and efficient IT operations.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

🌐 Network Administration

• Install, configure & maintain network hardware/software (LAN/WAN, switches, firewalls).
• Implement security controls (firewalls, IDS, MFA, access management).
• Troubleshoot & resolve connectivity, performance, and hardware/software issues.
• Monitor network performance, optimize efficiency, and mitigate cyber security risks.
• Maintain documentation of network configurations & prepare reports.
• Handle cabling (Cat5/6/6A, fiber optics).

🖥️ End-User Support

• Install & troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, ERP, VPN, antivirus.
• Provide support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, Wi-Fi devices, CCTV, NVR/DVR.
• Install & configure local/network printers & other peripherals.
• Join PCs to domain/workgroup, manage backups & restores.
• Support for broadband, ILL, SIMs, landline, biometric attendance, door access, projectors & meeting setups.
• Perform routine upgrades, security patching & firmware updates.

🤝 Additional

• Vendor coordination for support & IT equipment procurement.
• Explore cost-effective, quality IT solutions.
• Basic knowledge of GPS, RFID, UHF/RF devices is an advantage.
