We are looking for a Kafka Engineer with expertise in designing, developing, and managing Kafka-based data pipelines. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Kafka-based data pipelines Architect and implement Kafka reference architecture Ensure availability, performance, and security of Kafka infrastructure Troubleshoot Kafka-related issues and optimize performance Manage Kafka brokers, ZooKeeper, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, KSQL, REST Proxy, and Control Center Implement secure Kafka deployments, backup & recovery, and problem-resolution strategies Provision, manage access lists, Kerberos, SSL configurations, and monitoring tools Automate tasks using BladeLogic, Ansible, Chef, Jenkins, GitLab to reduce manual effort and enhance reliability Work independently on multiple projects with strong analytical and communication skills Good to Have: Experience in Kafka best practices and redundancy cluster setup Hands-on experience with cloud-based Kafka solutions Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
