Job Description

<p>We are looking for an experienced Laundry Manager to oversee all laundry operations across our labor camps. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in managing large-scale laundry facilities, leading teams, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and efficiency.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Manage daily laundry operations including collection, washing, drying, ironing, and distribution of uniforms, linens, and residents’ clothing.</li><li>Supervise, train, and schedule laundry staff to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.</li><li>Monitor laundry equipment, ensuring proper usage, regular maintenance, and timely repairs.</li><li>Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards in all laundry processes.</li><li>Control inventory of laundry chemicals, detergents, and supplies.</li><li>Implement cost-effective measures to reduce wastage and improve efficiency.</li><li>Maintain records and prepare reports on laundry performance, expenses, and equipment usage.</li><li>Coordinate with the Campboss and Housekeeping Manager for smooth service delivery.</li><li>Resolve staff and resident complaints regarding laundry services in a professional manner.</li><li>Ensure staff follow proper procedures for handling special fabrics and large volumes.</li></ul><h3>Requirements:</h3><ul><li>Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in managing large-scale laundry operations (labor camp, hotel, or industrial laundry experience preferred).</li><li>Strong leadership and team management skills.</li><li>Knowledge of industrial laundry equipment, detergents, and handling of different fabrics.</li><li>Ability to manage large teams and meet high-volume demands.</li><li>Good problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.</li><li>Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards.</li><li>Diploma or degree in Hospitality / Laundry Management preferred.</li></ul>
