We are looking for an experienced Laundry Manager to oversee all laundry operations across our labor camps. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in managing large-scale laundry facilities, leading teams, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily laundry operations including collection, washing, drying, ironing, and distribution of uniforms, linens, and residents’ clothing.
- Supervise, train, and schedule laundry staff to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Monitor laundry equipment, ensuring proper usage, regular maintenance, and timely repairs.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards in all laundry processes.
- Control inventory of laundry chemicals, detergents, and supplies.
- Implement cost-effective measures to reduce wastage and improve efficiency.
- Maintain records and prepare reports on laundry performance, expenses, and equipment usage.
- Coordinate with the Campboss and Housekeeping Manager for smooth service delivery.
- Resolve staff and resident complaints regarding laundry services in a professional manner.
- Ensure staff follow proper procedures for handling special fabrics and large volumes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in managing large-scale laundry operations (labor camp, hotel, or industrial laundry experience preferred).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of industrial laundry equipment, detergents, and handling of different fabrics.
- Ability to manage large teams and meet high-volume demands.
- Good problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality / Laundry Management preferred.
