Job Description
We are hiring a Lead Planning Engineer (Contractual) for our Gharo Plant. The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field, along with at least 7 years of planning experience in the manufacturing, automotive, industrial, or infrastructure sectors.
The ideal candidate will lead the planning, scheduling, and project control activities for ongoing plant operations, production lines, and infrastructure development projects. This includes developing and managing detailed project schedules using P6 Project Planning Software, coordinating with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, procurement, and construction, and ensuring timely project execution.
The individual will monitor project progress, conduct critical path analysis, prepare performance dashboards for leadership, and propose recovery strategies in case of delays. The role also involves supporting CAPEX project tracking, implementing planning best practices, and optimizing production efficiency.
Additionally, the candidate will mentor junior planning staff, engage with external contractors, and contribute to setting up planning systems in a high-throughput, fast-paced environment.
