Job Description
Role Purpose
Lead the companys in-house legal function: contracts, corporate governance, compliance, IP, disputes management, and franchise/legal support to Sales, Marketing, Operations, Collections, and HR.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (marketing, sales/brokerage, procurement, services, consultancy, NDAs, MOUs, SLAs) and maintain contract templates.
Franchise: review franchise agreements, brand usage terms, compliance policies, and operations manuals.
Real estate (if applicable): brokerage agreements, booking/commission clauses, and legal review of campaigns.
Corporate governance: incorporations/amendments, board/shareholders minutes, POAs, registers, filings.
Compliance: track regulatory changes (companies, commercial, labor, consumer/data) and roll out internal policies and trainings.
Disputes: manage pre-litigation amicable resolutions and coordinate with external counsel for litigation.
Collections: support demand letters, contractual safeguards, and recovery strategies.
IP: trademarks filing/renewals and safeguarding marketing content.
Risk management: legal due diligence, approval workflows, and signature authorities.
Awareness: internal trainings for non-legal teams on contracting & compliance basics.Role Purpose
