The firm is now looking to bring on a Legal Assistant to join their Structured Finance Practice on an initial 6-month FTC, with scope for extension.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with prior paralegal or legal assistant experience, or someone who has already secured a Training Contract and is keen to gain first-hand exposure to high-profile structured finance transactions before commencing.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the preparation and review of financing agreements and related transaction documents.
  • Supporting attorneys through due diligence, closing checklists, and transaction closings.
  • Conducting legal research on regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Liaising with clients, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders.
  • Drafting correspondence, reports, and maintaining organised records.

Person Specification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, or related field (SQE/LPC desirable but not essential).
  • Prior paralegal or legal assistant experience, ideally in structured finance, financial services, or corporate law.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with legal databases advantageous.

What’s on offer:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Hands-on experience with high-value, cross-border structured finance deals.
  • A collaborative, supportive environment within a leading international firm.
