Key Responsibilities include:

• Providing expert legal advice across business units.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of legal agreements.
• Ensuring adherence to all external regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Monitoring and interpreting regulatory developments.

Must-Have Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent.
• 4-8 years of experience in financial services legal/compliance.
• Strong knowledge of financial services legislation (POPI, FICA, FAIS etc.).
• MUST have investment background
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Nice-to-Have Requirements:

• CPrac (SA) designation.
• Experience with LMA contracts.
• Admitted Attorney / Advocate ( Advantageous)
