As we expand our footprint in the Middle East and beyond, we are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to support our regional and global legal and commercial needs. Key Responsibilities Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate EPC, FEED, JV, subcontractor, and supplier agreements (FIDIC, bespoke, or NEC-based). Commercial Advisory: Advise on risk mitigation, indemnities, liability caps, insurance provisions, and cross-border compliance in O&G projects. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to UAE law (DMCC, mainland, and free zones), and provide global legal compliance oversight (EU, LATAM, Iraq, etc.). Dispute Resolution: Manage and advise on litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution across jurisdictions (especially UAE, ICC, and LCIA rules). Corporate Affairs: Support board governance, corporate restructuring, shareholding, and compliance for Novargi DMCC and global subsidiaries. Labour & Employment Law: Advise on UAE labor regulations and global workforce issues including expat contracts, consultancy frameworks, and secondments. Multijurisdictional Projects: Provide legal leadership across projects in the UAE, Iraq, LATAM, and EU, ensuring compliance with host country laws.
