Women are therefore encouraged to apply.</p><h3>MAINTENANCE MANAGER- NOVATEK LUSAKA (1)</h3><p>The Required Skills for this Role Include:</p><ul><li>Planning, controlling, monitoring and providing the requisite technical guidance and instructions on repair, maintenance and construction engineering operations and activities of plant machinery/equipment. (Plans have to be recorded).</li><li>Ensuring Meetings are regularly held with subordinates to review progress of ongoing work, plant machinery/equipment efficiency.</li><li>Formulating strategies to accomplish pending jobs in the most efficient manner.</li><li>Planning and controlling the execution of preventative maintenance of plant machinery to minimize plant down time.</li><li>Conducting regular inspections with the current status of plant machinery and equipment and provides on the spot technical guidance to subordinates to optimize efficiency.</li><li>Designing specifications for modifications to plant machinery / equipment and spares.</li><li>Controlling all construction, repair & maintenance work undertaken by contractors and ensures strict adherence to manufacturing, engineering and safety standards and specifications.</li><li>Preparing the sectional budget for approval by management and monitor the expenditure to ensure management targets are met.</li><li>Approving and recommending deserving staff for promotion/training within and outside the country to enable them to acquire knowledge and skills required to meet the dictates of their responsibilities.</li><li>Regularly checking the Novatek Information Management System (NIMS) for compliance, updates and implement new documents for all procedures, standing instructions and forms for your department/ sub departments. (Factory /stores).</li></ul><p>The Required Qualifications are:</p><ul><li>Full Grade twelve (12) certificate with five (5) credits.</li><li>Bachelors’ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field.</li><li>10 years previous work experience in the maintenance field.</li><li>Member of EIZ.</li></ul><p>The Required Attributes Include:</p><ul><li>Persuasiveness</li><li>Good Communication and Interpersonal Abilities</li><li>Leadership and Team Management Skills</li><li>Ability to work under pressure</li><li>Creativity and Problem-Solving</li><li>Attention to Detail</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li></ul>
