We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with proven expertise in Fire Fighting, Water Supply, and Drainage Systems to join our prestigious consultancy office in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be UPDA certified, demonstrating a high level of technical proficiency and design excellence in accordance with international standards and local regulations. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed design drawings and calculations for fire fighting, water supply, and drainage systems in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes. Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, and other engineering teams to ensure integrated project designs. Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents. Conduct site visits to monitor installation and ensure compliance with approved designs. Apply NFPA, BS, and Qatar Civil Defence regulations effectively. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. UPDA Certification (Mechanical) Mandatory. Minimum 5 years experience in a consultancy environment in Qatar. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant hydraulic calculation software. Strong knowledge of international codes and Qatar Civil Defence requirements. Excellent communication and coordination skills.
