Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Billing & Coding Specialist to ensure accurate and timely billing and coding of medical services. The Specialist will be responsible for reviewing medical records, assigning appropriate codes, and submitting claims to insurance companies. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and coding guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical records and assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies.
• Follow up on denied or rejected claims and resolve billing issues.
• Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines.

Required Skills

• Certification as a Medical Coder (CPC or CCS).
