Job Description
Oversee the maintenance and operation of all MEP systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, HVAC, fire alarm (FA), fire fighting (FF), building management systems (BMS), and related equipment.
Ensure all MEP systems comply with local, national, and industry codes and regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve MEP issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Implement energy-efficient solutions to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
Collaborate with facility management teams, contractors, and vendors to coordinate maintenance and repair activities.
Develop and implement emergency response plans for MEP systems, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Maintain accurate documentation of systems, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Participate in planning and executing system upgrades or renovations.
Provide training to facility staff on technical MEP procedures.
Stay updated with MEP technology advancements and integrate innovations to improve performance.
Identify and mitigate technical hazards in collaboration with the HSE team.
Manage minor projects and repair tasks from conception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Supervise manpower across different technical disciplines.
