Job Description

<p>We’re looking for a National Operations Manager to oversee and optimise our nationwide security operations. This role requires someone who can drive performance, ensure compliance, lead teams, enhance client satisfaction, and integrate technology to deliver world-class security solutions.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead and manage security operations across guarding, armed response, CCTV monitoring, and patrols.</li><li>Ensure compliance with PSIRA regulations, firearms control, and SHEQ standards.</li><li>Build and maintain strong client relationships, act as escalation point, and ensure SLA delivery.</li><li>Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, training, and performance of 600+ staff.</li><li>Manage operational budgets, fleet, equipment, and cost controls.</li><li>Leverage technology, surveillance systems, and data analytics to improve operations.</li><li>Provide consolidated reports to Exco and support strategic execution.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications & Experience</h3><ul><li>Diploma/Degree in Security Management, Policing, Criminology, or Business/Operations Management.</li><li>PSIRA Grade A registration (essential).</li><li>Firearm competency certification.</li><li>SHEQ / OHS qualification (advantage).</li><li>Minimum 8-10 years in security operations, with at least 5 years in senior/national management.</li><li>Proven ability to lead large, multi-regional teams and manage client portfolios.</li></ul><h3>Skills & Competencies</h3><ul><li>Strong leadership, people management & labour relations skills.</li><li>Expertise in security legislation, technology, and operational risk management.</li><li>Customer-focused with excellent client engagement experience.</li><li>Financial management, budgeting, and cost control.</li><li>Analytical, decisive, and innovative in improving service delivery.</li></ul><h3>Personal Attributes</h3><ul><li>High integrity and accountability.</li><li>Resilient, adaptable, and able to perform under pressure.</li><li>Excellent communicator and negotiator.</li><li>No criminal record or adverse credit profile.</li></ul>
