<p>We are seeking a skilled and motivated Node.js Developer to join our fintech engineering team. You will be responsible for building scalable backend services, APIs, and real-time systems that power our financial products such as virtual cards, wire transfers, and account management platforms. This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced, data-driven environment where performance, security, and reliability are paramount.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and modern frameworks (Express.js, NestJS, Fastify).</li><li>Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs with robust authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth).</li><li>Build real-time features using WebSockets or event-driven architectures.</li><li>Integrate with third-party financial APIs and services (e.g., payment gateways, KYC/AML providers).</li><li>Optimize performance and scalability of backend systems handling high-frequency financial data.</li><li>Collaborate with frontend developers and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.</li><li>Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with financial regulations (e.g., PCI DSS).</li><li>Write clean, testable, and maintainable code using JavaScript/TypeScript.</li><li>Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.</li></ul><p>Required Skills & Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.</li><li>3+ of hands-on experience in Node.js backend development.</li><li>Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.</li><li>Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).</li><li>Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).</li><li>Understanding of asynchronous programming, promises, and event loops.</li><li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).</li><li>Knowledge of financial systems, data protection, and secure API design.</li></ul><p>Preferred Skills:</p><ul><li>Experience in fintech or banking domain.</li><li>Exposure to event streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ).</li><li>Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Angular) for full-stack collaboration.</li><li>Contributions to open-source Node.js projects or fintech tools.</li></ul>
