Seeking a skilled and innovative Principal Product Designer to lead design efforts across idea-stage and early-stage startups. Drive user-centric product design, create scalable design systems, and ensure exceptional user experiences from day one. Your Role: - Own end-to-end design process for multiple early-stage products, from research to UI and developer handoff - Collaborate closely with founders, product managers, and engineers on product vision and strategy - Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions - Design wireframes, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for web and mobile - Establish and maintain reusable design systems and visual guidelines - Rapidly iterate designs based on feedback and evolving requirements - Support venture pitches and product storytelling through compelling visuals and prototypes You Bring: - 4-6 years of hands-on experience in digital product design, preferably in startups or fast-paced environments - Formal design education (B.Des, M.Des, or equivalent) - Strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI expertise across platforms - Mastery of design and prototyping tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Principle, or Framer - Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and design systems - Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in ambiguous environments Bonus Skills: - Experience overseeing junior designers or contractors - Familiarity with AI tools enhancing design productivity and quality
