Educational Qualification: B.E. in Civil / Mechanical / Material Science. Proven experience as a Procurement Engineer or in a similar procurement role within the construction industry. Solid understanding of civil engineering items, equipment, and services. Familiarity with procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management. Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate supplier proposals and make data-driven decisions. Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Proficiency in using procurement software and tools for tracking and managing procurement activities. Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the construction industry.
