Job Description
Our partner in glass manufacturing from China is expanding their presence in Kedah and seeking an experienced engineer (Civil and Structural Engineering background are very welcomed) to lead their project team.
I. Job Responsibilities
1. Construction Progress Supervision
Monitor the execution of the construction schedule to ensure the project progresses according to the planned timeline.
Identify potential risks of delay and actively promote solutions.
Submit regular progress reports to the company headquarters in both Chinese and English.
2. Quality and Safety Management
Supervise construction quality based on design drawings and Malaysian construction standards.
Inspect materials, construction workmanship, and hidden works acceptance.
Check the implementation of safety regulations to eliminate potential hazards, ensuring compliance with local OSHA or JKKP requirements.
3. Coordination and Communication
Serve as the companys on-site representative to coordinate among design institutes, construction contractors, suppliers, and local government authorities.
Resolve technical disputes and on-site issues.
4. Project Changes and Cost Control
Review change requests proposed by the contractor, evaluate their rationality, and report to the company for approval.
