We are looking for a Psychotherapist to provide community-based therapeutic services for individuals with traumatic brain injuries resulting from automobile and/or work-related accidents. This position is essential in helping our clients navigate their recovery process and achieve their personal goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions tailored to clients' needs.
- Help patients to develop effective coping strategies and navigate changes in family dynamics, identity, and life goals following their injury.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team (e.g., occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists)
Requirements
- Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or related field required.
- Michigan Licensure as an LLP, TLLP or LPC, or equivalent.
- Strong clinical psychotherapy/counseling skills with a focus on patient care and empathy.
