Job Description
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to design, automate, and validate tests for Web/Desktop applications and APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with Playwright, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in agile environments.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze requirements and user stories to define testing scope.
Design functional test cases using industry-standard techniques.
Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
Automate test cases using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
Build reusable automation components for scalable frameworks.
Execute test scripts, analyze results, and generate test reports.
Collaborate with developers and QA teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
Requirements
Must Have:
2+ years of experience in Playwright automation (JavaScript/TypeScript).
Strong knowledge of OOP and basic software design patterns.
Solid debugging and problem-solving skills.
Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools.
Familiarity with test management and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
Nice to Have:
Experience in desktop application automation.
Exposure to API testing (REST APIs preferred).
