Role Overview As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing project costs and ensuring accurate quantity assessments in line with drawings and specifications. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
- Perform accurate cost estimations for civil and architectural works
- Track and update BOQs throughout the project lifecycle
- Verify contractors’ invoices and claimed quantities
- Coordinate with project teams for timely approvals and cost control
- Provide cost analysis and assist in tender evaluations
- Ensure adherence to all contractual and financial requirements
- Utilize AutoCAD and MS Excel for quantity take-offs and reporting
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Designing, Architecture, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying, estimation, and billing
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
