We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow to join Prof. Xiaonan Wang’s Smart Chemical Engineering Center at Tsinghua University. The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research at the intersection of AI, carbon neutrality, and materials & systems engineering. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects and translate AI-driven labs to real industrial impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI/ML algorithms for chemical & materials discovery.
• Contribute to the development of domain-specific databases and "Chem/Materials GPT".
• Work on intelligent low-carbon systems and lifecycle optimization.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to translate research into practical applications.

Required Skills

• Solid fundamentals in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Energy, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or Data Science.
• Proficiency in Python and machine learning skills (or strong motivation to learn).
• Experience in molecular dynamics (MD) and/or density functional theory (DFT) is a plus.
