We are looking for an experienced General Manager. You must be hands-on, and financially astute General Manager to take the reins of a large operation.
Requirements:
- Proven Lodge or Hotel Management Experience
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role in safari lodges, bush hotels, or tented camps.
- Strong Financial & Systems Knowledge
- Confident in budgeting, cost control, payroll, and financial reporting. Must be fully operational on SEMPER or a similar property management system.
- Operational Expertise across All Departments
- Deep understanding of housekeeping, food & beverage, facilities, guest logistics, and lodge presentation.
- People & HR Leadership skills and knowledge
- A motivator who thrives on team development, performance management, and creating a strong service culture.
- Solid understanding of HR legislation, disciplinary procedures, and fair labour practice.
