We’re looking for a part-time Sales Representative who can generate leads, close sales, and help customers bring their landscaping visions to life. This role is ideal for someone with knowledge of landscaping, a passion for golf or synthetic turf, and the ability to acquire and close new deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell landscaping services including plant design, artificial turf, and synthetic golf green installation.
- Identify and contact prospective clients through various channels (cold calls, referrals, social media, etc.).
- Conduct site visits and consultations to understand client needs.
- Create and present professional quotes and proposals.
- Collaborate with the installation and operations team for accurate pricing and scheduling.
- Source a wide variety of plants from nurseries around the state to meet design specifications.
- Stay informed on industry trends, products, and pricing—especially in turf and golf green tech.
- Maintain relationships with clients to generate repeat and referral business.
- Track sales activity and communicate regularly with the team.
Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience in landscaping, turf, outdoor design, or a related field.
- Knowledge of golf, putting green design, or synthetic turf is a major advantage.
- Familiarity with plants and landscaping materials; experience sourcing from nurseries is preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and reliable.
- Comfortable working outdoors and traveling within the state as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
