We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer (English Speaker) with strong expertise in Core Banking systems, particularly in Local and Bill Payment modules, and ideally with exposure to Remittance systems. The role involves hands-on AS400 RPG development, code reviews, and close collaboration with business and technical teams to deliver robust and scalable payment solutions. Experience in Cash Management, GIRO, or Instant Payment systems is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of Core Banking applications with a focus on Local and Bill Payment modules.
• Provide enhancements and support for Remittance systems where applicable.
• Perform end-to-end development, debugging, and testing using RPG on AS400.
• Work on Cash Management, Rate Provision, GIRO, and Instant Payment systems.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, including task planning and effort estimation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6-9 years of experience in Core Banking application development.
• Strong expertise in AS400 platform and RPG language.
• Hands-on experience with DB2 databases.
• Deep understanding of Local and Bill Payment systems.
• Proven experience in Cash Management/Rate Provision OR GIRO/Instant Payments.
• Proficiency in code reviews, quality assurance, and debugging.
• Must be an English Speaker with excellent communication skills.
