Job Description
The Network Engineer is responsible for delivering high-quality technical activities, including solution implementation, integration, troubleshooting, proof of concept (POC) development, and presentations. The primary objectives are to ensure customer satisfaction, uphold professionalism, and maintain accuracy and exceptional quality in all tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests via the service management system and other channels (email and phone) within predefined service level agreements (SLA).
Participate in professional training sessions as planned by management to stay updated on the latest IT technology trends.
Provide general IT infrastructure support during high workload periods or staffing shortages.
Adhere to established target dates, priorities, and urgencies as communicated by the line manager.
Take ownership of identifying, reporting, and enhancing areas of risk or improvement within IT services.
Offer assistance and consultancy to team members and management when needed.
Represent the infrastructure team in meetings and communications with staff, vendors, and third parties as required.
Act as the officer in charge during planned maintenance or emergencies outside regular working hours, including weekends and public holidays.
