Job Description: Job Title: Senior ServiceNow Developer Location: Stamford, Connecticut Experience: 10-15 Years Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Developer with 10-15 years of expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) and a strong background in implementing and optimizing ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and implementing ServiceNow applications and integrations to enhance organizational workflows. This role requires technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver high-quality ServiceNow solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, configure, and implement custom solutions on the ServiceNow platform, aligned with business objectives. Lead the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to identify needs and requirements, translating them into actionable ServiceNow solutions. Design and develop ServiceNow workflows, business rules, and scripts for automation, ensuring optimal platform performance and scalability. Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems, using REST/SOAP APIs, to streamline operations and data exchange. Implement best practices in ServiceNow development, including module customization, system upgrades, and platform security. Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for ServiceNow issues, ensuring timely resolution and system stability. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, solution designs, and standard operating procedures. Lead a team of junior ServiceNow developers and provide mentorship, as needed, to ensure knowledge sharing and skill development. Stay current with ServiceNow updates and industry trends to recommend and implement enhancements to the ServiceNow platform. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 10-15 years of experience in ITSM, with a minimum of 8 years focused on ServiceNow development and implementation. Proven expertise in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, and CMDB. Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow development tools, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Workflows. Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and other web service protocols. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web development languages as they apply to ServiceNow customization. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or other relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer).
